You Break Through

We love ... LOVE Highlands dental! I'm a very nervous, okay I'm terrified of the dentist and every single time I've had my teeth cleaned or anytime I need anything else done, they have always been incredibly kind and gentle. My last cleaning my insurance decided to be a brat and not pay, living on disability I couldn't afford a cleaning last minute. I was incredibly grateful that Kristy donated her precious time on a Saturday to work their give back day. She, as always, was so amazing! She knows my fears and made a very scary situation, okay. Thank you to everyone at Highlands!! We are so grateful for you.

I've been going to Issaquah Highlands Dental Group consistently for last 10+ years (minus a short stint in California). That was, up until 2 years ago, when my job slowly became more and more stressful, and I slowly started to fall into a deep depressive, anxious pit. Doing basic things like showering and brushing my teeth became hard. Going to any non-emergent appointments like the dentist became impossible. The good news: I got help (a big thank you to my therapist and my medical practitioner), and when I could finally make it back to the Dental Group, every single member of staff was nothing but understanding and kind. X-rays are a special kind of torture for me and always have been, but Erin bent over backwards to help make it as painless as possible. She was the absolute sweetest and I so, so appreciated her in that moment. Sarah made me laugh and showed such confidence in me. Dr. Kaur was kind, gentle, and efficient despite what I know must have been a busy caseload that day. I didn't see Dr. Miller that day, but have in the past, and also know him to be wonderful. One of my other favorite things about this practice is how transparent they are in their pricing. Jules, the main manager, was upfront with me about costs via my insurance before any work was done. I wish more medical practitioners adopted this policy. If you haven't been able to see the dentist for a while (or even years), or if you're struggling with your mental health, I highly recommend sharing that in the intake survey they do. They really do pay attention to that information, and every member of staff reflects it in their behavior and care. I could not recommend Issaquah Highlands Dental Group more highly.

Kristie was my hygienist, very thorough, professional & friendly. Dr Nima was my dentist, very personable, professional & listened to what I had to say, explained clearly & treated me with respect.
